  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

We have two body postion wedge things, not sure if that's what you are talking about...one is where you can adjust the wedges to let her sleep on her side or to keep her in one spot..the other is like a pillow almost that is elevated..kind of like a slant..with adjustable wedges..is suppose to reduce acid reflux...I personally think the two we have are total wastes of money at the moment. Maybe she needs to grow into them. But, I find her wiggled down into the middle of them..and they are suppose to go right under the arms(the wedges) so she doesn't move. But, she finds a way. I am so paranoid she will smother or something, I stopped using them.

Did she give any suggestions how to do that? What about more tummy time during the day rather than laying on his back? Or more time in the bouncy chair and make sure he doesn't turn his head that way by putting a dish towel behind his head to encourage it to turn the other way?

We use one (have since he was born). I cannot say it helped really in the beginning, but I think it kind of gave him the feeling of being cuddled. Now we would not be without it! We have found Christian will sleep all night if he is on his side. As soon as he turns on his back or tummy, he wakes up. We use it to try and keep him on his side.

My little Christian used one while she was in the bassenet, but once she moved to the crib she didn't want it anymore. She naturally goes to her side when we lay her down and has never prefered one side over the other. She will go to sleep on one side and wake up on the other. It is really fun to watch her do that.
