It's the beginning of a story based on the opening sequence of Skyrim, and my character's experiences. The events that take place are based entirely on what I am doing through the game, but it has the added flair of a novel-like story. I'll continue working on my character development and background story as I go along.

As Mr. Runningfish said, this hooked me much faster than Oblivion... and I looooove the landscapes, etc. Also, the characters look a lot better than they did in Oblivion.

I don't care much for the dark elves, waaaay to creepy for me. But the characters look fantastic. Oblivion's were nothing more than blobs compared to this >.<

Very cool Crujir! I've had some pretty cool experiences. Fought three dragons now and i'm just barely into the game.

I played the Oblivion for 3 hours and I enjoyed it,but my computer was extremely slow and I coudn't play well.
Now I changed my computer and Skyrim is in my list!

Yeah the Dark Elves are definitely a beet creepy looking. I thought the Wood Elves were too, at first, but then I checked out some of the other preset character templates, and they look pretty good.

In general though, yeah, Oblivion characters are blobs lol

I'm working on Chapter Two as we speak. I don't have a lot else to do when I'm at work when it's slow (which it almost always is) so I should have it finished in the next few hours. I had some pretty awesome stuff happen today, so I'll have some interesting tales to tell.

if you go to river would and do the quest for the shop keeper and then go on to finish the dungeon he sends you to you can then go to white run hold one that looks like its form lord of the rings the 2 towers tlack to the guy in cherge talck to his court wizard after that give him a stone with dragon language on it that you should have picked up at the end of that last dungeon

after that a dragon attacks the western watch tower near the city

i love the game but my hd cable is still not connecting my tv and play station so its dosent look as good as it could and i suck at aiming spells and weapons

sall my 2nd game play dragon could not hit it up in air had a bow but cant aim very fast then after a while it just went away i hope to the gods they don't attack random towns without me around i don't want to loose quest opportunity's

i think all those places are still on the same continent if you ook at game map in oblivion you see its betwen moro wind and sky rim and some other places

I didn't like the whole werewolf thing either. I was kinda miffed that I couldn't get more work with them without it. Oh well, I can always change back later in the game. I will kill a dragon as a werewolf at some point! lol

I have Skyrim and have it installed, but I'm holding out for a number of mods to come out for it.

Specifically companion mods. Reports of the companions included with the game leave a lot to be desired to say the least.

That's generally true with the initial release of any Bethesda game. I haven't had it crash at all, but I've seen some bugs here and there. Some of which are rather funny, actually.

Still, none of those bugs detract from the epic experience of Skyrim. You should still pick it up.
