This last week I spent over three hours being incapcitated and throwing up while such and then spent 5 hours in an ER room. The diagnosis? Medicine reaction due to interruption in taking meds.
My kids started school this last week. I take seroquel. Anybody that has ever taken it will most likely admit that it can be very difficult to wake up with a clear head in the mornings. So, in order to be fully functioning I did not take my meds for two days. One day I didn't, the next day I did and then the next day I didn't. And then BAM!!! was I sick!
How many of you skip your meds from time to time either planned or unplanned and have you gotten as sick as me from doing it?
I now am taking my meds earlier in the day so that I can wake up more clearer.

Alaska. I'm so sorry to hear that things have been so ick for you lately!!
), which was HORRIBLE because my grades are almost always A's. (Got a 4.0 for 3 terms in a row, ruined that last year with 4 A's and a B+, heh, still have a 4.0 in my major). Suffice to say, I am determined to never go off Lamictal immediately like that, no matter what my current psych tells me!
