What are some basic skills that you think every child should learn as they grow into adult hood? We have had a similar thread a long time ago dealing with skills father's should teach boys, but I want to broaden this to both genders.
*This is not about moral character skills, but actual physical skills. "Kindness" is not a physical skill.
I'll start with a few examples of skills I think every kid should learn growing up. Some of these skills I have, and some I wish someone would have taught me:
1. Play a musical instrument
2. Shoot a gun
3. Sharpen a knife
4. Drive a car
5. Ride a bicycle
This is just a start. I would love to see what everyone else would add to the list.
