Race: Nenfarnen Elf

Male

Age: 89(looks to be in his 20's)

Hair: Long blue hair, running down his back.

Eyes: ocean blue

Complexion: tanned, smooth skin.

Build: Light but sinewy.

Height: 6'8''

History: Dagnir was once a citizen of the sinful city of Ember. He was stuck up, very rude, a womanizer, and wouldnt hesitate to threaten people to get what he wanted. It all changed after a near death experience which caused him to leave Ember and meet a very shy, bookish young human woman. The two fell for eachother, quite surprisingly, and Dagnir slowly began improving himself morally. He found himself in the middle of a war between Ember and the city/kingdom of Lumloria, and was knighted for an act of bravery. After becoming an elven knight, the fact that he now had a new reputation as well as the fact that he owed the King of Lumloria his loyalty, he became a decent, if not good hearted man. He goes back to White Beach very often to find work but has a home in Laurealda as well.

Personality: Dagnir is still just a little bit of a flirt from time to time, which is far better than how he acted in Ember. He follows the code of chivalry, or atleast tries very hard, and his temper has dulled slightly. The woman he fell in love with, Jenna, unleashed his dormant intellect which proved to be quite impressive, and surfaces in times of need. Otherwise, one would not be able to tell that he is actually fairly intelligent. He gave his life to Christ and his life and outlook on life have improved drastically since then. He can tend to be a bit apathetic at times, but all he needs is a little coersion and he will go to the aid of anyone who needs it. He is of average strength, but is very skilled with his spear and cutlass.

Clothing: Dagnir normally wears a full but beautiful and elegant blue and gold suit of plate armor. He wears a helmet with a crest that resembled a fish's fin on each side of the face and has a plate that covers his mouth and part of his nose, but still leaves plenty of visability. When not in his armor, he wears nothing but a few golden plates on his torso, and some baggy pants with a long blue fauld.

Weapons: he wields a spear with a sea serpent tooth for the tip, as well as an elegant cutlass, depending on the situation. He has the ability, as many Nenfarnen with even minor mana wielding abilities do, to control water when nearby and use it as a weapon.

Changes for Palace of Kirshwier:

History: Sir Dagnir married his true love, Jenna Imlad, and they have had 3 children in their almost 20 years of marriage.

Children:

Their oldest son, Mordecai, is planning to become a soldier in the Lumlorian army in a few years, since he has almost come of age(rather than having to wait until he was 50 to START puberty, like most full-elves, Dagnir and Jenna's half-elf children reach maturity around the age of 25, rather than between 15 and 18, like most humans.) He exhibits a taste for military tradition, unlike his sometimes dispassionate father, and sees war as an art. Dagnir simply gets a thrill out of fighting now and then, and likes the benefits of knighthood.

Their oldest daughter and middle child, Luthien, takes after her mother and has become a scholar. She does not enjoy combat at all, but atleast knows a few tricks for defending herself and making a break for it in dark alleys. She is only about 17, still in the earlier stages of puberty, but very wise for her age.

The youngest daughter, Sylvanna, is quite rambunxious for her age. Almost a tomboy(some elves say she's tomhuman, too, since she does not have the grace and finesse of most Elves in her play and studies), she envies her father and brother for their ability to fight, and worries her parents that she might one day pursue the military venture more eagerly than Mordecai!

Position: Dagnir has done little to increase his prestige, but he's certainly done his job well as a supporter and enforcer of the law and Elven society in his two homes. He earned himself a position as bodyguard for Hrestanin's diplomatic presiding councilwoman, Mellarion Ellynthil. He is not sure what her business in Peria is, but he knows that this will certainly be something BIG.

Personality: While many still refuse to believe that Dagnir is capable of being a good father, he has softened up and calmed down a bit since his wilder days, during and after leaving Ember. He has little love for humans after the events in Ember, all those years ago in its war against Lumloria, but he's learned to work with and deeply care for many humans as individuals, his wife definitely being the chief example. He is still no zealot to service of his people, but he's not as apathetic or disillusioned as he used to be. He atleast has a sense of purpose in his line of work.
