A few months back there was a thread on single gender bathrooms in public areas and workplaces. Rather that resurrect a zombie thread, I will start a new one. THis was an issue that I thought about bringing up but seemed to be a sidetrack to the ongoing discussion. I came across this article posted by someone in the men's forum and decided to reference it here and ask for discussion if this fact would change your opinion on single gender bathrooms if you were in favor of them.

Absolutely nothing valid about that kind of "survey."

Is there a more accurate term than "single gender bathroom", seeing as that literally means what we typically have had. Namely a single bathroom for the female gender and a single bathroom for the male gender. Those are "single gender" bathrooms. Don't you really mean multi-gender bathrooms?

OK - good point. How about "non-differentiated" bathrooms? I do not remember the term used in the earlier thread.

I have no interest in knowing the percentage of people masturbating at work.

However, if anyone does have an interest beyond merely a topic to get clicks on a blog, he'd have to do a better job of creating a survey.

That's an idea. Or you can use the converse calculus term "Integrated" bathrooms.

I'm not inclined to use a study from Glamour magazine, of all places, to formulate my opinions on bathroom access. I have a hard time taking studies that use middle school euphemisms to refer to masturbation seriously.
