On occasion I've noticed that as I am waking up, that moment in-between sleeping and consciousness, my brain is finishing up a praise song and my heart just feels like it's been singing to God while I was sleeping. Does this happen to anyone else, and is it possible that while I'm sleeping sometimes I'm singing to God?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

has happened multiple times to me as well! truly a blessed experience when you do wake up from it and realize what's happening.

The Bible says that we are (right now) seated in Heavenly places with Christ. If this be so, how could our spirits not be singing all the time? 
My husband says that the Lord told him that when he wakes up singing it means he was in a spiritual battle during the night, and the worship was his weapon..... I think there may be truth to that.....

I love that verse, tdgirl! I often wake up singing to the Lord and often dream of singing or just worshiping God with words.
