  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Romans 6: 2 We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? (NIV)

Sin in our lives is like the boyfriend or girlfriend that you just could not say no to. You know they are bad for you and you know that any relationship with them is not going anywhere good, yet when they call you pick up the phone and talk to them. But then one day something changes and you no longer let them have influence over you. They call and you don’t answer. They come by and you ignore them like they weren’t even there. You become dead to their allure. Well the same thing happens when we come to Christ and become a believer. That sin that used to have rule over – that sin that you used to not be able to say no to – all of the sudden you now have the ability to say “no” and not to have that sin rule over you anymore. We are dead to sin. It is about time that we lived like it. We, as Christ followers, need to understand that we are dead to sin and we don’t have to listen when temptation comes calling.
