Our cat "Stumpy" had kittens and the ****-Zu (sp?) ate one and Jan gave the rest to the neighbors. Stumpy got her name when Caleb, my grandson, dumped a wheelbarrow accidently on her tail and whacked half of it off.

Twelve weeks last Thursday. Their next shots are at 16 weeks, and we are going to try the declawing/fixing thing at the same time. The white one is a girl and the gray tabbies are boys.

I knew when we went to see the three kittens left in the litter, and they were all curled up in a kitten ball, that we were getting all three. My allergies are so-so - taking medicine again. Adam thinks I'm the best wife in the world right now, but they really are good kittens. The only thing they have really done that's "bad" is knock my plant over. It was in a plastic pot. I replanted it in a big heavy ceramic one, and it's been fine ever since.

There's a story behind the names. You realize that since I'm pretty allergic to cats, this was all Adam's idea and I'm humoring him (and medicating myself). The people we got the kittens from had just named them. The little white one, the girl, was Bella, and the boys, the gray tabbies, were Butch and Albert. We liked Bella, so that is still her name. The boys names had to go. In my warped way of thinking, the only Bella I could think of that I knew was Bela Ligosi. Keeping in that genre and getting my little stab in, I decided on Boris and Karloff (Karl for short) for the boys. I figure they will be little monster kittens before they become sweet docile cats. It sounds weird, but the names really fit them right now. If I was thinking this through a little, Karl might have become Lon (Chaney). I'm already stuck on Karl, though.

They are actually pretty good kittens. The furniture and curtains are not shredded (yet). The only real bad thing they've done is knock a plant over - all I had to do was get it a heavier planter, and it's been fine ever since. Adam thinks I can do no wrong right now.

Hahahahahahaha! There is no time in the summer. That's when I get bumped up to 40 hours. It's more pay. It's also more fun. We don't have to walk on our tippy toes around the teachers and other staff in this building.

Cute kitty names. Bella Lugosi... That guy was cracking up around the end of his career. He actually began to think he really was Dracula. Maybe you should sleep with garlic around your neck. Remember the commercial where the lady ran out of milk and mixed creamer with water to make milk for her multiple cats? They attacked her, all you heard was her blood curdling scream and the cats yowling. Got milk?

What happened on CF to knock it off-line for so long. I couldn't even reach the main website to see if Erwin had put a message on saying the site was being fixed.

I think it was either a hardware or server crash. One of those two Erwin told us about in the announcement area.

Though even if CF had not been down, I wouldn't have been able to log on the past few days anyway. 90 + degrees at my house for the past two days and the air conditionars haven't been put up yet. Therefore, my laptop overheats and I have to turn it off every so often to avoid problems.. I do have a laptop cooler too, but it doesn't work too well.

That and Comcast has been a pain latley here too. They came out three times this week to fix drop outs we've been having for TV, Phones, and Internet.. grr.

I use Comcast too and they have been really bad on fixing problems and upgrading... We've been wanting to change to DSL but they don't offer it in the area and I need the high-speed for work and it comes in handy here too...
