So Remi and I were having a discussion about lust/adultery and the topic came up about nocturnal emission or 'wet dreams'.
Remi said that the information he read on it, said that it was sinful, should be repented and counted as adultery.

I personally think that's bogus as its all subconscious and cannot be controlled. Well, actually it can be through masturbation..so which is sinful?
Allowing yourself to get to the point were you have a wet dream or 'dealing with it' as it were, before hand?

I'm sorry if this is too graphic, but it just has been a question of mine that I wonder about every time we talk about lust.

Peace,
- Niffer

Mediation notice --- Please let us all keep this topic within the bounds of propriety. It seems a bit graphic. Thank you.

I know it is, and I'm sorry. I just don't see a way to ask and not be ah, less descriptive.
I'm posting this as a real question on whether or not people consider it a sin, and I thought this would be the most appropriate forum as we're all marrieds here, and I'm not sure of the ages of people in "Ethics & Morality"

I can remove this post if you like, but I'm not intending to have a graphic discussion, but rather a serious one about morality.

Surely this topic has come up for many of the men here; and since my DH and I can't agree - I thought I'd ask some of the smartest most mature Christians I know. :)

So I posted. :)

However, I will do everything to keep this topic clean.

Peace,
- Niffer

Hi Niffer.

This topic really should not be discussed in a common forum.
You might want to open a thread in the Personals.

I realize that all these folks here are married, ... but this should really be discussed either between a husband and wife or in same gender areas.

Thank you.
In Christ,
Ed
