God may guide us through dreams as he did Joseph and John or he may literally call us as he did Samuel. But only he knows how he will lead his people.
Hebrews 13:5 says that God will never leave us or forsake us. Especially not while we are making an important decision. When we trust God instead of flipping coins and rolling 8 balls for major decisions, we eliminate all fallacy.
