Please, can you tell me everything you know about this person. I know that he is mentioned in the New Testament, and that he has been the center of many medieval tales and legends. Any links or books on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

The passage in question is Acts 8:9-13. It reveals the conversion of Simon, a magician who called himself The Great Power of God. The title Magus is a version of magician, so Simon Magus is Simon the Magician.
