Similarities between BPD and ADHD

I just read an article about similarities and differences between bipolar disorder and ADHD. I remember the teachers thought I had ADHD when I used to be at school, but I never got checked for it and later in life I was diagnosed bipolar. And after reading the article it made me think that I have been having bipolar disorder all along, since early childhood.

Anyone else here got diagnosed ADHD as children or later in life and then got the diagnose changed to bipolar?

They tried saying I had ADHD in Elementary School. My mom refused to believe it. Sometimes I wonder though. I have a really hard time concentrating and sometimes someone will be saying something to me and I just can't seem to grasp the words.

That is Something I have Bipolar II Disorder but today I also recieved the dx of adult ADD. Alot of times Bipolar and ADD can go together.
