I've been itching to play SH 2. I just can't get past the Pyramid Head (apparently) molesting the mannequins issue. It weirds me out. Has anyone else played this and have an opinion? And does anyone have any survival horror game recommendations?

Great game. Really freaky. One of the games that is best when played at night. In my opinion, at least.

Resident evil series is also a good survival horror game. There is a way to beat the pyramid head as I have done it but cant recall how. i think you just have to survive for so long before it leaves. I'm still workiong my way through silent hill 2

I don't know how old you are,but SH2 is one of my all-time faves! It is creepy and dark and P-head is pure evil,but I wasn't too disturbed.I played it several times.He doesn't molest the manequins,they just show a brief cut-scene where it looks like P-head is mating with one. Meh. If you like scary movies,this game is for you.
Also try Fatal Frame2,RE series,and Siren.

Finished SH2 a while ago. There are 4 or 5 different endings depending on a few pivotal decisions you make in the last five minutes of the game.

Also, once you've finished the game twice, if you play it again for a third time, there are apparently a whole bunch of new areas (out in the lake, etc.).

Definately one of the creepiest games I've ever played. In fact, I'd have to put it at #3 right behind System Shock 2 and Undying.

Oddly enough, as old as it is (in relation to other PS2 games), it has been "sold out" in two of the three stores I went looking for it. Hmmmm.
