Family Guy... but they brought that back.

There are also some Canadian shows that I'm sure you might not be familiar with... like Traders and The Associates.

Now I'm drawing a blank...

But I've noticed that the shows I do develop an interest in get cancelled. But the ones I hardly notice are the ones that seem to stick around forever.

I can't count the number of times I've watched commercials for shows that I've never heard of.

I know exactly how you feel. Once you finally find a program that you like; it seems destined for cancellation. Shows that I can't for the life of me understand why they are on television are the very same ones that go on season after season. It makes me wonder, am I that different from the general population of the show's demographics?

I just went to some network websites to give some examples of shows I hardly knew exist but seem to be watched by everyone in the world except for me:

8 Simple Rules (ABC) (Now that John Ritter's dead, I don't know why people still watch it)
Hope & Faith (ABC) (That show with Kelly Ripa)
Still Standing (CBS) (Not sure how to describe this show)
Two & A Half Men (CBS)

There are others... can't recall them right now.

I loved Firefly - I was very sad when it was canceled, but they are coming out with a movie so I guess that makes it a little better.

John Doe - they killed it right when it left off with the biggest cliffhanger that made you go "whaaa?". Bummer.

Wonderfalls - another great show that never got a chance to survive. It's out on DVD now, including episodes they never aired, so I can't wait to watch them.

Funny... all those are FOX shows :D

Fox has an uncanny way of killing anything good

I am waiting anxiously for the movie Serenity...it was supposed to be released in April but with all the new sci fi flicks it has been changed to September I believe. You can catch the trailer in theaters though, the trailor premered with the movie Electra.

It seems kind of sad that I know that much about a movie and tv show. I'm sad.
Anyway...Fire Fly has some great fan sites such as fireflyfans.net and browncoats.com

The best shows are always cancelled.

Bevis and Butthead, Daria, Undergrads...heeyy...these were all canceled by MTV! Argh! Those rating mongers!

Bevis and Butthead along with Daria had a good run. Every show has to end sometime.
