I just watched 5 episodes of :wayward pines", and first episode of, "the whispers" I'm curious about the new show Zoo.

Seems to be this summers tv show theme, definetly enjoying wayward pines, nice bit of mystery to it, though they didn't draw out finding things, already explained ther situation at episode 5, and the whispers..well creepy children are always creepy.

Anyone seen this, or plan too?

I'm watching Wayward Pines and I'm not buying the explanation. This is a M. Night Shyamalan production and based on his track record, I'm not one to trust him. I'm not watching the Whispers because the previews were creepy. I'm probably gonna check out The Zoo. That looks interesting and I think I'm gonna play catch up with Under the dome and watch them this summer. I'm also gonna watch Extant. So yeah there's definitely some choices out there...

I have some theories about Wayward pines, I think what they have been told is the truth, but I think there is a few details left out.

How do you PM don't want to spoil for anyone not seen the episodes yet.
I'm not sure with this new set up but I think it's the option "start a conversation" or something like that but don't quote me on that...

I'm liking Wayward Pines but cautiously, it is well written, but I won't be surprised if they go all dark and creepy and lose me soon. That often happens with this type of show, sadly. And it is sad. Where were these writers when fiction class was being taught. We're taught not to do that. Why? Because you lose people, duh, and it's bad uninteresting writing. Oh, well, maybe oneday I'll have the time to write one!

As for Whispers, like others have said, the commercial was enough for me to say "nevermind!" I thought Under the Dome eventually worked its way out of the creepy darkness to a pretty good show. Then it dissappeared. Will it be back?

Other good ones, if you've not seen them and I think you can find on Hulu for free: Flash Forward was very well done, but cut short. And The Event wasn't bad, but also cut short. Terra Nova was great, but again, cut short. Odd pattern of the good ones being cut short, but they did commit the mortal sin of having no naked bodies, and few or no gratuitous sex scenes. Who do they think they are?!?

Wayward Pines Survey:

Regarding the most recent episode, what are you're thoughts?:

A) Ethan is really dead. Afterall, he's Matt Dillan and doesn't really do t.v. A few weeks between movies was all he could fit in.

B) Ethan is not really dead. He'll show up sometime in the near future and wipe away the grieving tears of his loved ones.

C) Ethan is really alive, but has reasons for faking his death.

D) You've thought of options I have not considered.

E) I'm watching too much television.

I thought the finale was great! No I think Ethan is really dead but he died a hero at least to the adults involved. Unfortunately Pilcher had a back up plan. I would have liked to have seen how all that went down with the 1st generationers to end up where they did. So I think they left the door open for like another mini series explaining that. I would watch that. But overall I enjoyed how they tied everything up. I wasn't disappointed.
