Its biblically correct. So no. You cannot 'cross' out a bible passage you don't agree with.

There are many things in the Bible that are not politically correct. If you took them out, it would be a much shorter book.

Romans 1:26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts.

verse 20:

For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. 21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

So in their conscience they know of God, yet they refuse Him. In response God gives them up:

"Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones."

So women with women is unnatural, but Paul really comes down on the men:

Verse 27: In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men (sodomy), and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

The result of sodomy leads to STD...

It is sin because,

1] It is unnatural

2] It brings disease

I can see why people get confused about it,
but it's not a disease. It's bondage.
And Jesus really can set you free.

It's a disease of the mind just like many other diseases of the mind. Someone who chooses that perversion must have a mental problem
