I'm engaged to a guy who's not a Christian but in Corinthians it says that the woman sanctifies her husband, is it okay for me to marry him?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Surely. Love is the rule of royal law. Just make sure he loves you; not only in word, but in act; true? I have to say though, I'm not sure I like the look of him. Looks shady to me. You're sure about this one? I don't think he's good enough for you. I don't think he knows what he's given. I'm not sure I trust this guy.

It's not up to us. There is a very serious scriptural warning about being unequally yoked; if you are to have spiritual permission, you must spend time in prayer on this matter. Of course, as far as that goes NO marriage should be entered without a time in prayer on the matter. <gggg>
