It will take me an hour, walking uphill part of the way in a mixture of snow, sleet, and freezing rain, to get to a class that I will be half an hour late for (and thus, absent even if I am present) AND which (along with my other class) may be cancelled.

Plus, I just sliced my palm open with a piece of paper.
