Hi everyone.
At the moment I'm a third year student at and Institute of Technology studing computer science. The course I'm doing is broken up into stages, after two years we receive a certificate in Computer Science, after three years a lower degree and after four years a higher degree. So anyway I do have my Certificate and I also got a Cisco networking cert last december.
Lately I'm feeling really worried about my third year project, and I think I might definately fail and will end up having to repeat third year. I know it's not the end of the world if that happens. I know alot of people who had to repeat 1st year, others 2nd year and some now repeating third, and that there are also other options.
During my time in college I've worried alot about having to repeat first and second year and lately I'm starting to wonder if this course is right for me. I have an older brother who lives and works in Japan and the company he works for is offering me intership over there. I'm excited and also nervous about the opportunity and know that it will boost my career.
I really like multimedia and creating flash and digital animation and a classmate of mine told of another student he knows who did the first two years at our college and then transfered over to another college to study a course in multimedia, because of his transfer he was able to skip the first year of a three year course and apparently he loves it. My friend suggested I could do the same.
I really like multimedia and would love a career in the subject but I'm not sure what I should do.
Should I consider the transfer or just repeat my third year if I have to?
