i'm almost certain this thread has been started before, but this forum is rather confusing to me and i could not find a search feature. i suppose that forewshadows my reasons for starting this thread 
i recently recieved a new copy of 'shorter christian prayer', the abridged version of the liturgy of the hours specifically for lay people. it, too, is rather confusing to follow. once i get started on exactly where we are in the psalter and the liturgical year, i'm sure i can follow it. does anyone pray this? if so, can someone please help jump start me as to where i should begin? i'm assuming we are in week four of the psalter, since the book tells me that the cycle starts at week 1 the monday after easter.
