  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You can avoid this problem by surfing instead of snorkeling. You'll be less likely to notice the sharks, since your head tends to be above the water ;). The thought of becoming shark snack did cross my mind when I surfed, but I didn't see any. Considering the murky water, God only knows if I was nearly munched on.

Sorry I don't have more useful advice. I just saw the title, and thought I'd chime in.

La Jolla... I live in San Diego (well I'm in Florida until the end of summer) and I can say in my experience, the water in So Cal isn't as nice as the water in Florida or Bermuda... but I've heard La Jolla cove is pretty cool for snorkling and scuba diving.
yeah the water is freezing...isn't as clear...but it's cool...best beaches are definilty in "La Holla." The dives are off the cove on the other side of childrens pool, if you know where that's at...it's suppose to be amazing there...
