I read this passage earlier today, and it really spoke to me:

"In You my soul takes refuge.
I will take refuge in the shadow of Your wings
until the disaster has passed.
I cry out to God Most High,
to God, who fulfills His purpose for me."
~ Psalm 57:1-2

I love the idea of the "shadow of Your wings." This refers to a chicken protecting her young from all danger under her wings...even willing to give up her life to save her children. Jesus gave up His life to save us, His children. Thus, the souls of those who believe are forever safe with Him.

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
