I was in my early 20's. my life was going along very calm and nice....when one night....

I feel I was pulled out of my body (separate from my body...like dead) I suddenly was placed on steps that were all white! I could see the top step. Surrounding the top was a wrap around top floor with a banister on all three sides! I started running up the steps trying to get to the top but I couldn't! (It was like an escalator that was going down and I was going up...so I stayed in the same spot) I was frustrated when all of a sudden a voice from behind me said my name!!! I froze!!!! I knew right then that it was Jesus!! I wanted to see him so badly! I was afraid that if I turnd he wouldn't be there or this would be a dream and I would wake up! I prayed to God, " please let him be there when I turn!"

I turned....and by this Time he had walked from behind me to the right side of me! So my eyes were at about eye level with his feet. He had on a white long robe (at the bottom of the robe were about three layers of material. They looked like triangular rips with frayed edges of the fabric!) His feet were bare. I could see the form of his body...but he was so bright! He was walking slow and calm and steady. There was no wind. Yet with every slow step...I could hear the the rips of his robe blow in the wind. (Imagine 50 hug flags whipping in a violent storm)

He was walking toward the top front step...I was now able to slowly walk up the steps! As we walked...he said "do you know who I am?"
I was confused at the question? Because I knew the second he said my name I knew it was Jesus! I also knew he knew I knew! So why ask that?!? But, I said, "yes Jesus."

By this time he was on the top step blocking my view to what I believe was heaven! He sat down on the top step and I collapsed at his feet a few steps down. It was overwhelming joy but complete sadness at the same time because I knew I couldn't stay! I was crying (both tears of sorrow and joy). I wanted to hug him and never let go!!! But a voice inside my head told me I wasn't allowed. So with the strength I had left I carefully took my thumb and finger and touched one of the rips from his robe that was laying on the step. At that, he took his right hand under my chin ( that was looking down) and lifted my head up to look at him!!! I remember looking as hard as I could to see his face....but it got brighter and brighter! It was impossible to see thru the light! Even though it was brighter than the sun....it didn't hurt! Then, as the light of his face grew....I felt it wrap all around me! It sunk into all my being. The light whooshed me back to earth and I fell back into my body! That fall woke me! I sat up breathing heavy!!!! In awe!!!!

Tigger45 was the first person I talked with when I came to this site. He helped me see in the bible where there are references that happened in the bible. He helped me more completely understand the vision. I'm so grateful for that! But here's what I wanted to update tiger about:

The triangle rips at the bottom of Jesus' robe.....they have stood out all these years. I've tried to understand it. Well....this seems strange, but I have felt that the Holy Spirit has been telling me to get a tallit (a Jewish prayer shawl). I didn't even know what they where! Then I kept questioning God if I heard him correctly....because I'm not Jewish! But....Tallits kept showing up everywhere in my life! I finally ordered on from Israel!!! (It's not here yet). Then, my mom was at a gallery when a woman came up to complement her on her painting. My mom asked her if she was an artist. The woman said, "we'll I'm a weaver. But most people don't know what it is I weave. It's called a tallit." She told my mom how she can't do anything without the rabbis approval." It's all very specific. My mom almost fell over because I've been concerned about being Christian and getting a tallit. But that was my final sign that GOD WANTS ME TO HAVE A TALLIT and that's all that matters...not what others think or what I think.

Now...here's the coolest thing!!! The other night I was looked up on the Internet Christians using tallits. They explained all about the tallits and why they have the tassels on the corners.

Outer garment was the Tallit (prayer shawl) it was heavier weight.
Psalms 61:4 Let me dwell in your tent forever! Let me take refuge under the shelter of your WING.

Matthews Gospel chapter 14:34-36 ..And when they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret.
v.35 And when the men of that place recognized him, they sent around to all that region and brought to him all who were sick
v. 36 and implored him that they might only touch the FRINGE of his garment. And as many as touched it were made well.

It comes out as ‘hem of His garment’ the hem for us is like what is at the bottom of our pants, or at the edge of our sleeve. Folded over and sewn to avoid fraying.

That is not what’s talked about in scripture, what was talked about was that the woman touched His (Jesus) tzizit, the fringe.

The whole purpose of the Tallit (prayer shawl) is to hold the fringe on the corners as a reminder to the people about God. That they have been set aside, sanctified and made Holy unto God.

So...two things....the triangle rips were frayed edges...not sewn. Plus...their shape looked like an upside down feather.....Wing!!!!

Glorify, the word "wings" that you mentioned in Psalms 61:4, also found in Psalm 17:8, 18:10, 36:7, 57:1, 63:7, and Psalm 91:4, in the original Hebrew translates "the hem of a garment."

Hello To everyone!
My Name is Pablo , I have 20 years old , I'am writing from Santiago , Chile! (southamerica). So , First of all , sorry for any errors in the english languaje!.
I'am writing , because i want to share my testimony! Hoping that this encourages you!.

I was raised as a Catholic during my first years , but i didn't know god , he was something in the stars!.
A t the age of 12 or 13 , My parents Separated and this is the point where my journey begins!.
My parents separated after some months of fighting , i still remember when my mother , afthe the fight , she went to the car , and leave me and my brother for hours.
i remember that my mother took me to a doctor , and i was starting with the symptoms of depression.
i went to live with my dad and i change from school.
my class mates started to bullying me , i didn't defend myself ( i haven't fight (physsicaly) in my life!, i can't!).
The depression grow and grow , i didn't get treatment because my dad , he is skeptical about mind issues , it thought it was stupid.
i started to hear voices in my head , every single day , i thought it was normal! , my "cognitival" ( i don't know how to write it! ) function started to lower.
by this points , my class mates Raped me , (the put a solid soap deep in my but!) and i repeat a year in the school.
because of all of this , my voices told me that i should kill myself , first i said No! , but the time passes , and i try to commit suicide , in that moment i was alone and for a lot of hours , it was perfect , my plan was to cut my veins and bleed to death.
i was ready to do that , but i heard a voice , it was different , it said "everything is going to be all right" , so that day , i didn't kill myself.
by that time , my mother knows that something is really bad.
let me tell you something about my mother: she was a catholic and became christian when i was 12. , her parents separated , and her mother died when she was 14.

My mother uses a lawyer and the court , and i went to live with her.
the first thing she do , is goin to the psychiatrist , i told him tht i was hearing voices he ordered A Resonance , a full brain scan.
the result were bad. my brain was under high inflamation and increased pressure, also because this symptoms were not treated , i had some parts of the brain that were death , also my nervous sistem was compromised , some parts weren't working. this is permanent!, there was no treatment , only antidepressive and antipsicotics.
I couldn't cry , laugh , nothing! , i remember that when i had an emotion , i felt it like somebody touch a small part of your brain and you like that.

my mother just keep praying...

One day , an Evangelist came from the United States , Sister A.A.A stafford ( read Tripleey).
my mother took me to place she was preaching , there , i saw her preaching , suddenly she stops. she said , somebody here needs healing... she look at the audience and then she saw me , she come to me and grabs me , then she put her hand in my head and pray.
i don't remember when , but one morning i wake up an my head was burning! it wasn't painful! from the inside.
No more pills! , no more pain! , no more Voices! , 5 years and counting!
all the damage in my brain was healed! , something that's impossible according to Biology! even my doctor were astonished!!
is like waking up form a very bad dream.
i need to talk but Sister A.A.A , i met her only once! , she died in 2011 , please , read the following link! learn about her history! , an amazing person!

she died from cancer , she had cancer at 24 , i was all over his body! , she should be dead clinically at that age! , she didn0t get healing from God , although she pray and pray because she didn't FORGIVE his auncle , because He raped Her.
she forgives them and she was healed.
she died from the same cancer at 80... ! coincidence?
She told me that , i was going to be his "child" in this world , that i'am going to be an evangelist just like her!.

Now listen to this teen , now young adult ! , i have experienced traumatically events , i have been raped , person have beaten me until i got to the floor bleeding, i Know pain...

But God came to my Rescue , and I didn't Ask! , and i'am not worthy at all! , i 'am just a human , I Give up on life , GOD DIDN'T GIVE UP ON ME.
If God doesn't exist , i should be dead! simple as that!. i should have commited suicide years ago!.
I have sin many times , i have done almost every sin , the only thing that i have is my virginity!.
iam far from being perfect , But God always is there , event whe we don't see it , and he always take me and put my in the right track.
all that i 'am writing to this moment , all that God has done for me , He can do it for you! Never Doubt that! , not even the worst Sin you made! , always read Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
You read this? read it again! , Nothing can separates us From God's Love , and when the bible says nothing , then its NOTHING, no matter what sin you made , repent and come back to Jesus!!.

I'am Happy that all this suffering came to my life , isn't that crazy? well it's not! now i understand almost every pain! and this will be so helpful whe i become a missionary!my faith is so strong , that nothing can change it! I'am ready to Die if necessary!, but i will be sure to bring as many souls as possible to God! , i Don't care if i Die, God give Everything For ME , and i 'am ready to give everything for HIM! even my life ! why? because i died that day! simple as that! , my life is no longer mine , every beat of my heart , every breath that i take , belong to Him! , and i said this with the 's conviction that comes from this testimony. , That why He allows such suffering and problems in my life! , it changed me forever! , my soul was changed!

so listen to me , It doesn't matter what problem are you facing , no matter the problem , no matter the suffering , Dont Give up on Life , Don't give up On God , why? Because God is Never ( NEVER) to GIVE UP on YOU.
He Always come to the RESCUE, in the EXACT MOMENT.

Hope that this testimony shows you what an Awesome we have at our SIDE!

I was walking in a crosswalk in an urban area when a car came flying (like 30 miles over the speed limit) through ignoring the red light and pedestrian only crosswalk signal. There was 3 guys in front of me and I was 3-4 feet behind them. They made it to the sidewalk just as the car approached us and turned toward the sidewalk at an awkward angle. I did a mad dash over the curb and was literally centimeters from the car.

I still remember this so vividly. It was truly a miracle no one was hurt. Be careful, everyone! Be especially careful in areas with crazed drivers.

When it arrives, walk around for a day with your fingers wrapped in its tassels...experience what rabbis did. See how you would have to "unwrap your hands from God" to do anything

I had posted this on another thread, before I knew this one was here, so I decided to copy it here.

A missionary sponsored by our church returned from Africa to tell about the things he experienced. One story he related was about how he conveyed the story of the crucifixion to the natives who had no clue about what had happened. He prayed for a miracle; something that would let him show the people what Jesus did for them. After prayer, he opened a can of tuna because it was time to eat. There, lying on top of the tuna, was a large nail. With that nail, he was able to demonstrate the crucifixion and win souls to the Lord.

Having never been in a packing plant, I don't know how often nails are included in cans of tuna. I don't know what the odds are of that can making it to Africa with other provisions, or being selected for opening at that time. I would think the odds against such a thing are staggering. Whle many will say that the overwhelming statistical odds against something like that happening do not constitute it being a miracle, the missionary and we at the church remain convinced that it was a direct answer to the missionary's prayer.

I was raised in a home where my mother was religioous, my father was not, and my brothers were disrespectful of everything including God. One afternoon my brother brought home a collection of satanic symbols which he wanted my mother, who was a decent artist, to draw for him. She refused because she said those symbols represented witchcraft and satanism, and they were an affront to God. That began an afternoon of my two older brothers making fun of everything holy and laughing at the things in the Bible they believed to be nonsense. When told by my mother that God was real, they demanded that He show Himself, or that the devil show himself, or that any spirit that existed prove itself.

Not wanting to join in to the debate, I withdrew to another room and decided to go to sleep early. An 11 year old needs his sleep if he plans on prevailing against the overbearing will of the school teachers. I missed the first part of the excitement altogether. When they woke me up they were all scared, including my mother. Outside the front porch there was a round circle of light on the ground with no apparent origin. They distinctly heard a train passing between our house and the garage, despite the fact that we were five miles from any tracks. None of the things they reportedly saw made any sense to me. I thought, as my mother did, that they had opened the door for spiritual entities to enter, and apparently they had.

That evening, whils sitting near a doorway in front of a long hall that ran the length of an addition we had added to our home, I noticed two shadows traveling the length of the hallway. The light colored paneling made them plainly visible. They were perhaps three feet tall and looked like any other shadows, except that the lighting was overhead and there was nobody who could have cast the shadows. I knew then I was looking at demons. After making a trip up and down the halway they entered the first bedroom on the right, in which my younger brother lay in his crib. I excitedly told everyone of this, but nobody believed me.

In the interests of time I won't go into all the details of what the baby did over the next couple of weeks. I will say that though he had just said his first words, he was able to whisper what sounded like a long string of profanities. If you put a Bible in his crib he screamed it terror. Finally we had an evangelist my uncle knew perform an exercism. It wasn't a formal affai like you see in the movies. It was more that he put his hands on the baby's head and commanded by the blood of Jesus Christ that the demons release their hold over the baby and that they depart. The profanity stopped, the strange behavior stopped, and once more the bably didn't know the Bible from any other book.

The story is true. While I don't expect many of you to believe it, I offer it as testimonty to three things.
1 As God is real, so is the devil. As angels are real, so are demons. It's easy to open a door and let a demon into your home or your life. It's harder to get them to leave.
2 As Paul writes in Ephesians, we struggle not against people but against principalities. Evil exists and it surrounds us. Only by taking the armor of God are we resistant to its influences. When he let our guard diown, the enemy pounces.
3 Light cannot co-exist with darkness. As powerful as the devil is, God is stronger. When His light enters your life, the darkness is cast away. No matter how strong a grip the devil has on you, God can break that grip and set you free.

I believe every word, and have had some similar experiences. And the casting out of demons is OFTEN more like what you described than the typical exorcism lol

Another miracle happened for me today. For a while I was running out of money, and a few days ago I was thinking that if I even had another 200 dollars that I'd be ok until the next time I get more money. Today, I got a suprise financial aid refund from my school that was 200 dollars.

A previous miracle also happened a few weeks ago. My doctors appointment was scheduled on the same day as my sister's school graduation. I didn't even have to pray for anything to happen when I got a call from my doctor's assistant the day before the scheduled appointment saying that my doctor called in sick and wouldnt be able to make the appointment on the scheduled day. I got my appointment moved up and was able to attend my sister's graduation.

I haven't gotten every single thing that I need from God yet, but I believe that God is real and he'll make things work in your life if it's in his will.

Catholics, for one, are big on cermony so an exorcism ordained by the church is in itself a very specific ritual. Jesus didn't use rituals, He commanded the evil spirits to leave by His own authority. The disciples cast out demons as well, by His authority. We can do the same; by His authority. Just as anyone can host the Holy Spirit, anyone can host an evil spirit. That spirit might not exert control. It could exert influence. It could be a demon of self hate that drives us into depression, or it could simply suggest sinful and destructive thoughts. Demonic influence is a lot more common than possession. Demons try to influence us to do evil regularly without controlling us. The devil himself tempted Jesus.

The Bible tells us how to fight evil.

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

"Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of Righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel ofPeace; above all, taking the shield of Faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

"And take the helmet of Salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints...."

God healed my daughter this morning!
My three year old had been up most of the night throwing up. I'd been in the same state on her birthday a week or so ago. It lasted ages and it wasn't nice.

Anyway, this morning I just laid hands on her and prayed for God to heal her. I think she threw up once after that, and then she was back to her usual self! Praise God. We had a wonderful saturday, all together as a family.

Dear Patrick, there is no where in the Bible that says the devil is omnipresent. The only reason it seems that way is because he has 1/3 of the angels of Heaven, tens of thousands of demons, rushing to and fro through the whole earth advising him of what's going on. In addition, he has lived for thousands of years and he has a pretty good idea what will happen in any given situation, without God's intervention. He would like to appear as smart as God, but don't let him fool you!

Greater is He, Jesus, who is in us, than he, the devil, who is in the world! The covering of the Blood of Jesus, in Jesus' name, is one of the most powerful weapons you have in your arsenal against the devil. Don't hesitate to use it! It also helps to quote the Word of God and tell the devil, as Jesus did, "IT IS WRITTEN!" Blessings!

Often the life is crazy, some days ago, a guy came to me talking about my future. That was really crazy, did something like this happens to you?

I have no doubt I have been sent a miracle! I have been struggling with certain addiction and have been dealing with the guilt and emptiness it has left me with. I was lost, and asked GOD to aid me and rid me of my sins. I had not been to church in YEARS and kept making excuses about not going...long story short, driving home one day I see a sign...LITERALLY, a new Christian church is now being built not more than a mile from my house!!! I asked and have received!!! GOD is the greatest and all is possible through him! Amen. Thank you.
