Let me introduce you guys to the wonderful sport known around these parts as "waterball", it's like water polo...but not. Explanations of things that happen are found below

The Great Sport Known as Waterball - YouTube

Events:
0:07 - Foul for holding someone underwater
0:30-0:40 - Not exactly sure
1:03 - My faternity's team scores
1:23 - The other team scores
1:46 - We score
2:18 - NOT A SCORE, BALL OUT
2:32 - We score again
2:46 - Foul for grabbing the neck
3:21 - We score
3:39 - They score
4:08 - We score
4:19 - They score
4:38 - Ball knocked out of play

We lost that game 22-20. There's two 20 minute halves, but the clock never stops. Compared to most games, that wasn't a very physical one.

Aww thanks...oh wait...I'm the one filming. I would film a girl's game, there actually more intense than guys but I feel like I would look like a creep.

Waterball.. Is it like handball but in water?
I don't even see a goal

And the thing I'm wondering about, there's so many guys just chilling at the sides & back? With waterpolo you've got some strategic positions/a setup, but I'm missing them here?

The guys standing outside the pool are out. The strategy of waterball is this: You have deep end players and shallow end players, who just stay near the wall in either the deep in or shallow end of the pool. The other position is the rover, he's like the midfielder in soccer. You score by simply touching the ball to outside of the pool on the side you are scoring in (we were scoring in the deep end and defending the shallow end). The shallow end is where you put the big guys who aren't very agile, the shallow end are guys who are a bit more agile since they are treading water the whole time. The rover is usually a fast swimmer and not as strong as the scoring players.
