power: Darkness and shadow manipulation (He can manipulate Shadow and just darkness as he pleases. Sunlight is his weakness, which is why he always wears a ood over his head. If exposed to the sun too long he was become weak and collaps. He is strongest at night and has not even yet discovered his true potential.)
Appearance:
Almost is always wearing dark clothes, a hoodie with the hood up, and jeans. He also has a large scar going down from the top of his forhead to passed the corner of his right eye, but his hood and long hair usually cover it. His skin is also very pale from lack of exposure to the sun.
Bio: Shane never really was happy. When he was two years old is mother ran off, and left Shane alone with his abusive father. Shane grew up being neclected and uncared for. Shane lived in fear of his father and was an outsider at school with no friends. He often withdrew to himself. One night when Shane was 14, his father came home drunker than usual. Shane hid in his room as he ussually did when his father was home, but his father came in screaming at Shane how it was his fault his mother left and dragged Shane out of his room. It was a good thing that the neighbors heard the comotion because by the time the cops showed up, Shane's father had beaten him half to death. Shane's father was taken away, and Shane was left with the scar on his face from when his father threw a beer bottle at his head. Shane was taken to a foster home, but wasn't very good at adapting. He often ran away, but the cops always brought him back. Almost every foster home Shane was brought to couldn't handle Shane. They just said he was too messed up. Then when Shane turned 16, he began to get his powers. after that, no foster home would even consider taking Shane in. Nobody new what to do with Shane, so they sent him to the Boarding School for the gifted. Shane hasn't made any friends at the school yet and usually wont talk to anyone.
