Hi. I was raised a Southern Baptist. Went to church every Sunday with my father. I later spent some time as a Jehovah's Witness. Then my friends at school gradually got me involved in Satanism and Devilworship. I went very deep into the occult. They initiated me into their secret Satanic society. It's hard to leave.

I have a bible, and I like to study it. I pray often. For deliverance. I thought I'd join a forum of Christians to help me free myself from the grip of the occult.

Welcome. May I suggest that you ask Lord Jesus to help you? The occult is rarely a bondage that we can break ourselves. Also, I would suggest that you get rid of any books or occult related artifacts.

Hello @Amy x, WELCOME TO CF I'm ~very~ glad to hear that the Lord has helped you leave Satanism and the Occult, PTL.

I should quickly add this however, that even though you have come to a place where you can talk to/find support from a large number of Christians, I believe that church is the place that you really need to be now, first and foremost anyway (in your situation particularly). Have you begun to attend church again yet, and if you have, have you let your pastor know about everything that's going on with you right now (so that he can help/support/counsel you as you fight to get away from your former life/lifestyle, as well to let him know how he can be praying for you through all of it .. cf Hebrews 13:17)?

My advice is to get new friends. Seriously;
