  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello Joy ,

I had a blessed Good Friday which began with beautiful service at church. I read the first reading but asides from that I was able to sit and worship. Today (Saturday) was a busy day because we (Mum, Dad & I) along with my aunt and uncle were clearing out my grandparents' place. Tomorrow at the early morning service - it starts at 7:30am - I will be up front assisting the Priest.

Joy my friend, I wish you a Blessed rest of today and tomorrow.

Hi Invisible Wishing you a truly Blessed Easter Weekend. As for the Easter Chocolates I've managed to look but not touch - it helps having them stored in the fridge downstairs, which is only opened when I get a can of soft drink/soda out. Oh well tomorrow's the day.

Good evening, Shadowcat! Hope you are doing well. I finally got up the courage to talk to my supervisor about my workload & we pleasantly surprised at her response. Things are looking up. Still praying for you. Big Easter hugs!
