Appetizer: Grapes covered in cream cheese and rolled in blue cheese crumbs

Main Course: Mergherita pizza (mozerella cheese, tangy tomato sauce, basil, and pesto sauce on a thin crust)

Beverage: glasses of red wine

Dessert: sliced mangos heated in a sauce pan and then heaped over a scoop of vanilla ice cream

Dine on a blanket spread out over the carpet with the lights down low. All the finger food, good wine, and slippery mangos for dessert - Mmm hmm!

Aww yeah, that's a spells out sexy meal for me (and hubby).

But seriously, that does sound divine. My wife and I love good food, have a vary diverse palette, and enjoy entertaining our friends. But when it comes time to romance, our tastes our quite simplistic - a very nice bottle of red wine, real fire in a real fireplace, and some jazz in the background. Of course, it would also help if our 4 yo is asleep too!

Any meal is romantic for us when my in-laws are watching our 2 year old for the weekend!!

My kids are way too old to need babysitters, but I agree: any meal that's just the two of us is romantic!

One of our favorites, whether for romance or as a family, is fondue. It's the sort of meal you have to eat together. You can't just grab a plateful and go sit in front of the TV to eat it. We usually have cheese fondue as a main dish, but one of these days I'll get around to serving a chocolate fondue as a dessert...mmmmm!

I have a hard time equating "sexy" with food. To me, the only way that a meal is sexy is when it happens to be a naked spouse adorned with any number of sweet syrups or creams. Of course, a bottle of wine can help the mood too. lol

Oh my gosh, then you have not eaten really good food. Meals can definitely be sexy. Had gooey, sugary sauce running down your fingers after eating at Cinnabon...while looking across at your spouse? Dang that sexy!
Just don't pig out and you won't get lazy. And there a perfect, sexy balance to all of this.
