Hello there,
A few weeks back, several folks had asked about a comparison of beliefs on Dogmas, Doctrines, and Discipline between the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and Anglican Church.
I am preparing some material that is keyed to the Primitive Episcopal Church (the Anglican body I am associated with). A few notes:
1. Our jurisdiction is beginning to space itself from the name Anglican for one major reason: there are too many "Continuing Anglican" churches out there who haven't got a clue, or the ancient faith working in them. Some of them belong in Rome, and I don't have any hesitation telling them so.
2. We are going to take things one topic at a time. I can spend hours on end writing short snippets, or a little while every day writing something more meaty. I'd prefer the latter, and I think most readers would.
3. I am going to post it on a Primitive Episcopal discussion group on a different website. Why? Because, while my intention is not to actively convert folk, I don't want to put anything here on Christian Forums (or in the Catholic boards) that might be interpreted as seeking converts.
If you are interested in being subscribed to the discussion group, please do let me know at my e-mail address, anglicanfather@aol.com
