The concept seems to be interesting. But I don't get the poem, too.

The idea comes from the question how many times should one forgive another - 7? And the answer was 70 x 7 and add to that idea the seven deadly sins (presented in the different lines of the poem. Hope that is helpful.

Seventy times seven. In Matthew 18:21-22, we read, Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?”
“No!” Jesus replied, “seventy times seven!”
