  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I bought the new sds cd and I really love it. So many good songs. Last night I got see them in concert and man, did they blow me away. They rocked, they made everyone laugh and cry. The show was in Steinbach, Canada. The lead singer got stopped at the border because of his past criminal record. When asked why he should be let into Canada, he said "that man you see on that paper in front of you is dead. I'm a new man and I just want to see the people and let them know I love them and that God loves them." He had many other inspiring things to say. These guys are the best. Go see them in concert, it'll change you.

I saw 'em in concert a few months back. Wasn't really impressed with their music, but the guys' testimonys and actions were terrific. :)

Don't judge music by a live show. U gotta listen to their new cd once upon a shattered life.

I like Seventh Day slumber, haven't gotten a chance to see them live yet though...

My mom likes them more though, mainly cause her name is Caroline. (like the song they wrote called Caroline and about... Caroline) The first time she heard that song on the Weekend 22 countdown on the radio she started crying. (tears of joy)
