Service Trip

Hey everybody! wow I havent been here for a while... I just thought I might tell yall a bit bout a service trip i went on in the school holidays! It was sooooo cool!!! we went to the Cook Islands.. Aitutaki to be precise (sp?) so amazingly beautiful over there... we painted 2 buildings of a school.. the inside AND the outside there were 6 of us who went.. it was a school thing only 3 of us were actually part of the school hehe.. the people over there are sooo generous and loving they are like my third family now lol... they gave us our dinner every night and man do they know how to put a feast on!!! and when we arrived they gave us soo many ai's or lai's (the flower things they put on you when they greet you into the country) we were swamped in them... the school children made them for us.. they are sooo adorable the little kids are... and the weather! man its was soo nice compared to cold christchurch.. they ride around on mopeds and motorbikes and you can ride on the back of trucks!!! lol well now that i have bored you with that story i shall go..
