So going to preach a sermon at my school's spring retreat, and the devil attacking me. He doesn't want me to speak this to my fellow classmates. Please pray for me, that the devil will be stamped under the foot of Jesus. :)

Here is the sermon:

Spring Retreat

Hello, Im speaking this morning on God’s love and your reaction to His love in your life. This may be a difficult sermon to swallow, but I have to be blunt, because God wants to get this point across to you. Alright...

How have you responded to God's love? (Repeat) Well, I'm going to start off with a little testimony. I didn't really start engaging Christianity until the end of last school year. So I'm a relatively new Christian. Those first weeks are hard, there was much refining in the life of a new Christian as we shift from an old lifestyle to a new one. What made that worse was a special condition that I received. Moral Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Everything to me was sinful pretty much. It was absolutely awful, but praise be to God that He healed me almost entirely. There is a reason I shared this with you. That stage of my life, brought a lot of character and a lot of Glory to God.

John 9:1-3 - “As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. And his disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" Jesus answered, "It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭9:1-3‬ ‭ESV‬‬

God uses our weakness to His glory. He makes the weak, strong.

Love is a decision, not an emotion. Love God with your heart, not your mouth.

If we love Jesus, we will obey his commands. Well let’s say since God loves us, and forgives us continually, does that mean we keep living in a life of sin. No way! Just because your earthly father and mother love you unconditionally, doesn’t mean you defy them on purpose continually.

2 Corinthians 6:1-3
Don't take God for granted
God has shown grace to you many times, most of the time we don't even know.
How many times has he given you a meal How many times has he given you a place to rest
How many times do you come to a great Christian school, like ours. God is not a distant God, he loves you and knows you.

“Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For he says, "In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you." Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. We put no obstacle in anyone's way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry,”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭6:1-3‬ ‭ESV‬‬
Romans 6:14-16“For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. What then? Are we to sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:14-16‬ ‭ESV

God loves you so much, he came down from heaven for 33 years, to be mocked and beaten, and nailed to a cross by his Father's creation, sinful humans. God humbled himself to the form of a helpless baby, later fulfilling the scriptures of dying for our sins. It says in Isaiah, that by his stripes we are healed. Guys, he loves you, please answer his calling.

We need to wake up!Stop going through the motions of Christianity. That's when we place ourselves, instead of Jesus in the center of our lives.
I urge you to talk with God throughout the day.
* You won't find comfort in the world, God's comfort is so much better and eternal. The things of the world are temporary, but God promises to take care of us for eternity if you accept Him. (Eternity demonstration)
If you really love the God who created you, I just ask, just listen to Him, don’t ignore Him. Love is a decision not an emotion.

Well, I can’t convert you, the Holy Spirit of God must plant that seed in your heart, you must make that choice sometime in your life.
Don't take God for granted.

(Pray a blessing over them)
Heavenly Father, I love every single one of them, and I know you love them immeasurably more as their creator. I pray blessings upon them and their families, and this retreat. Please Father open their eyes, and reveal yourself to each and every one of them. In the the name of Jesus Christ.

 Bless yer heart, praying for you that God's grace supersedes ALL things and that HE is heard, regardless of the enemies antics. I am reminded of Joshua and God's reminder and promise to him at a time when he was facing a daunting task. God promises that He will see him through. May you see God do mighty things as you obey His prompting and unction. Father may it be so, in Jesus name, amen. (((hug)))

"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." ~Joshua 1:9

The Devil has probably read this message, and absolutely hates it. He wants to prevent me speaking it since many people at my school don't take Christianity seriously. ALL glory be to God.

Praying—though I don't think the devil is artacking you, you're just worrying. All of us have worrying or oppressive thoughts once in a while. You'll get through it. :)

Hi,

Will pray for you.

The message you are bringing, is good, but you will need to maintain a humble attitude. It is good to point out the need for God and the need for no complacency. But remember that your audience, needs to see God's love, don't fall into a trap of thinking your audience is stubborn, or rebellious. Look for the good in them as you speak. It is hard for me to explain what I am trying to say. I am not saying there is anything wrong with the message, but just remember as you speak that we all were once ignorant of God and following our own desires. Preach heart change, but express hope, not doubtfulness.

Hmm that's cool, I was just thinking that. Thank you

No worries. There is one thing I do when the devil attacks me, is I quote the scripture, "Christ became a curse for us, so that we may inherit the blessings of Abraham". Essentually this scripture tells us that the blood of Jesus has taken every curse, every devil away from us, (not because we are perfect), so that we can walk in the honor, blessing, and fullness of life given to Abraham. It does not mean Satan will not attempt to attack us, he may well try, you may even feel his attacks, but by standing on scripture, in faith, he will leave. I know from experience he will try to stay, even when we start quoting him the bible, but if you can stand in faith long enough, with out bowing to his lie (which is he says he has more power than you), you will experience freedom. No matter how strongly he attacks you as you go to stand to speak, have faith that your message will get accross to people. Even if you stutter, and tremble, God will give the victory.
