From: Storm Warning
By: Billy Graham

God has done everything possible to bring you salvation; you can add nothing to what He has done.  He has shown us the vision of the coming storm to give advance warning of the judgment so that we can flee from His wrath and come to Him.  If you wish to be saved and go to heaven, you can, by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior.

Jesus Christ rose from the dead to be alive forever.  Because is he alive and because He can be everywhere at once, He is right there where you're reading.  All you have to do is take Him, receive Him, accept Him personally into your heart as your Lord and Savior....

What more could you desire, ask, or ever hope for than that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you forever?

YES! Amen to this one. I guess this is truly what is on the heart of those with a passion for evangelism. It is this very fact that drives us.

Indeed, what more could we ever desire, ask or hope for!

My, how we need to be warning people today, as the the night approaches, of what it means to cross the line and enter into a Christless eternity!

Thanks for posting this reminder, and may we all remember!

Philippians

3:7-11 - "Yet every advantage that I had gained I considered lost for Christ's sake. Yes, and I look upon everything as loss compared with the overwhelming gain of knowing Jesus Christ my Lord. For his sake I did in actual fact suffer the loss of everything, but I considered it useless rubbish compared with being able to win Christ. For now my place is in him, and I am not dependent upon any of the self-achieved righteousness of the Law. God has given me that genuine righteousness which comes from faith in Christ. How changed are my ambitions! Now I long to know Christ and the power shown by his resurrection: now I long to share his sufferings, even to die as he died, so that I may perhaps attain as he did, the resurrection from the dead." Gerry, I think that a lot of what you say is true. Theologically, I am Calvinistic, and I believe you are as well. I believe in what I believe, and that's just that. But I think that sometimes I get too wrapped up in the underlying theology, and I don't get out and just simply try to tell people about the Lord. That's what it's all about, I suppose. One does not have to be taught up to being a Calvinistic aficionado before salvation comes! I guess I get so caught up in making sure people know I'm "right", that I forget to go out and simply fulfill the Great Commission.
