Seeing Angels Spirits/Angels

Hello Everyone,
I am new Member. But I need some Help/Advise/ Thoughts...... Anything will Help..... My story Starts when I was about 8 Yrs old....I started Seeing Spirits/angels. More when I was Outside and my dad was driving, I would see people figures walking on the street/road, and me not knowing they weren't real, would scream to my daddy(who at the time, was a Baptisit Preacher) to "Stop !!!!! the car!!! not to Hit them!!!". Not all of my experiences took place outside, I had a few experiences inside , I would see a particular figure in my house, mostly when I was alone in the House. This went on til I was about 13 yrs old. When I was 19 yrs old, at the time I lived alone with my baby daughter, I would hear Music, No words, just Music like choir hyms or praise, but nothing like I had ever heard......My dad knew what was going on with me and he concluded that it was Guardian Angels watching over me.... and that was it until today...I am 26 yrs old Now... and this morning on my way to work, I thought I saw someone crossing the highway, but when I saw him he was crossing right in front of my windshield, I really thought I hit Him.... There wasn't anything there... I'd like to think it is all in my imagination but I don't even watch scary movies., my heart and soul feels the same things that I felt as a child.....If anyone has any thoughts of encouragement...Please email or post.

Have read similar accounts...people encountering angels and hearing angels sing that is obviously Divine! In your case, I would concur that obviously some of what you experienced are angels watching over you, as per Psalms 34:7 and 91:11. However, for you to think you almost hit a real person who turned out to be a spirit...would say that could have been a demonic attack ...as had you swerved into oncoming traffic or off the road...the results wouldn't have been good at all. So would pray about what happened and ask God to give you a clearer discernment of spirits. Jesus is the Prince of Life! He would certainly work to preserve you, not endanger your life.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

1 John 4:1-3 Dear friend...do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God.

discernment of spirits is a God given gift and it sounds to me like that is a possible explanation.Can you talk to a pastor or priest you feel would be comfortable discussing this with you ?Is it possible to speak to your dad?I think it is important that you find someone to speak of these things with as they occur, if indeed they may continue.I have known one other person to experience similar things and it did not in this instance work out to their benefit...

I had dreams that started when i was about 5 or 6 yrs old. They came true. It scared the living daylights out of most of the adults because I also dreamed about the End Times and passages directly from the Book of Revelation. The birds of the air came down to eat the flesh of men.

I was truly happy and content with the dreams until the one about Rev. I woke up shouting Jesus is Coming! Mom freaked out cause the birds ate my grandmother. She screamed at me to never tell her another dream again, turned white and thought she was going to pass out. Later she sent me up the road to my sunday school teacher to tell her the dream.

Sunday School teacher dissapeared into the bedroom, came back out with a Bible and read the passage to me. I said, yeah Ruthie that's my dream! She wrote down the reference and told me to tell my mother to tell my grandmother the dream and have her look it up in her Bible. She accepted Christ as a result.

BUT, Satan was having a heyday. All of a sudden there was a lot of occult activity that started happening. Personally, I believe my parents were somehow involved in the occult. I've always felt that way and my grandmother even agreed with me. My parents tried to kill me several times and I was ritually abused. He was going to Bible college.

I started seeing things moving out of the corner of my eye (I've learned since then to bind and rebuke it)...dark shadows of men at night, one had a knife and a dog was found at my cousins a block away. Their house had been broken into, blood on the porch...their dog was laying in the bushes with it's heart cut out the next morning.

All kinds of creepy things. It followed me into adulthood. My mother reported a lot of junk that occurred when she was growing up. She also admitted that she got involved in seances and ouija (sp?) board in her early adult years.

I saw demons/dead people. They would actually, it seems, find me.

After I became a Christian, I learned to bind and rebuke this stuff. Now the only time I see this kind of stuff is if I am under demonic attack, OR I see demons on people. But those are demons, not shadows or dead people.

I remember having an experience as a child with an angel. I was 7 years old and I remember watching a program on television, a news show forgot which one about Demonic Possessions in people. My parents forewarned me not to watch it, well I snuck around that and watched it and I got in trouble. That night I was afraid to go to bed. At that time I shared a room with my sister. I began crying because I was afraid of Demons getting me and I was afraid of the word, "Black Magic" I had no idea what it mean't at that time. But I kept seeing that word in my mind that night or I thought I heard it. I remember the tears got so bad that I cried for someone to comfort me. Suddenly I began hearing music, kind of like a harp, it began playing in my room and it was beautiful. Then I stopped crying when I heard the music. The harp music was playing by a picture that was in my room, a picture my mom bought a few days back when I was kid called, "Beneath an Angel's Wing." I remember reading it that night but I still cried because I was afraid and I heard the harp music now by my bed and I crawled back in and fell asleep. That day I learned something, demons can attack in any way, by seeing spirits or taunting you, but a Guardian Angel is always near protecting you.

My daughter saw an angel, sitting in our hallway, looking into my two sons bedroom. He turned and looked at her and smiled. She was about 12 when she saw him. She wasn't afraid at all. My son saw an angel in the tree in our backyard and again in a tree at his school. It was just sitting and watching him. Angels are real!! It's really comforting to know that they really do watch over us.

I'm confused... You said your daughter saw an angel when she was 12, which means you must have been pregnant with her when you were 5 or 6, seeing as your profile says you're 18. Uhh... Huh?

There is a book out that my church uses for "Freedom Encounters" called "Steps to Freedom in Christ" by Neil Anderson, Dave Park and Rick Miller. There is an excellent (the whole hting is good in my opinion) area specifically geared to recovery in ritual abuse. There are plenty of affirmations (scripturally) and other tools to help close that open door and seal it up with Christ. Just an FYI.

hey guys wats up.i need some serious advice or help.look i am psychic.and not to long ago i was praying to GOD for the gift of seeing angels and this was about three months ago.and a week after praying i had looked up in the sky cause i was bored and i saw these floating figures.im not sure if they are angels or what.well the way i am psychic is i can predict the future.some one please help.

My guardian angel helps guide me pretty directly, as they see from the face of God. But it is important to keep things in perspective and watch out for tricks of the imagination and such.

For instance, it is relatively common to "think you see something", out of the corner of your eye and such. I have this happen, well, here and there. Am I tired? Was there high visibility? It happens.

Might I have seen something sometimes in these cases. Sure. Might they be bad. That is where the dividing line is. If it is bad, then what does it matter? Like all evil, put it behind you.

Definitely, do not focus on it. Keep moving on.

I have heard someone say one time, "If you see an angel, just snap your fingers at him, make it go away". They, of course, heh, have no idea of what they are talking about.

But if we do happen to see ghosts - or whatever - what good might happen from focusing on that? And can our eyes not play tricks on us? And even if they are not, what, shall we start talking to ghosts as if we were unaware that this is not for Christians to do?

If anyone truly wants more from God, God is glad to give it to those who have love and faith to receive.

But ghosts or whatever else... no... not the kind of stuff we should be focusing on.

The only angels I have ever seen have been as described in Scripture. Besides angels that disguise themselves as strangers (or just people in general).

Clothes that glow like lightning, for instance.

The thing about being "psychic" is, where does this power come from? From you? From your superior genetics? Because people have to watch that kind of pride. God can give us every manner of gift, but if we are really just seeking to take pride in our own self... we are not going to get a gift as this from God.

hey guys this is my first post and i was wondering if any of you can help me? My mom told me that she has seen a couple angels in the last couple of days but she says that she says white shadows with what looks like wings but she doesnt actually see a person or a clear view of an angel. Anyway my mom was at the drug store picking up some medicine for me and when she got back into her car all her windows and sun roof were open. also when she got home me and her heard someone knocking on our back door but as soon as we looked out no one was there. Does anyone no what this means or have any explanation for this?

It's possible your mom saw a couple of angels, or something she believes are angels, but aren't. Angels don't play tricks on people, like opening car windows, or knocking on doors. This is more in line with what demons or ghosts would do.

Did your mom buy her car recently whose previous owner died? This is just one possibility, without having going through a host of questions. Other possibilities include an association with the house or occultic activity occuring within your household.

Whatever it is that's causing these activities, it's not an angel.

no she got her car about 2 years ago and it was brand new. my mom has seen her relatives a lot after they have died and has always felt a good presence not a threatening presence and she said these things felt like a good presence. also one time when i was one year old i walked home from a park a mile away from my house and ever since my mom believes that her grandpa was watching over me cuz he died three days before i was born so do you think the white things are just guardian angels because this month my grandpa who dieds birthday is very soon and my grandpa died nov 24. So do you think they could be signs that they are okay and watching over the family?

It’s not in God’s character to play with car windows and knocking on doors to signify an impending death. Angels are ministers of God, so it wouldn’t be in their character either. I’m critical whenever I hear stories on television and radio about people’s supposed encounters with angels, especially when the people are unsaved, and the angelic encounters do nothing to glorify Jesus. Although angels do have a sense of humor, they behold the face of our Father in heaven, so they’re pretty serious beings. I’m no expert on angels, but I’ve seen them, as well as others in our church who have both seen and heard them speak. God’s business is very serious, and He is not predisposed to frivolous encounters or activity.

The bible says to test the spirits to see if they are of God. Spirits of God, particularly angels, will not hesitate to confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh, died, and was raised on the 3rd day. Demons posing as angels or any other spirit will not be able to do this. I’m in the process of testing if ghosts can or cannot say this either. I occasionally see/sense their presence, but I don’t hear them. My born-again Christian cousin can, so I asked her to do this for me recently. At the very least, it will help determine the spirit’s true nature.

Regarding your grandpa, it is possible his spirit is still hanging around. I wouldn’t consider it a good thing, though. The dead have no business socially interacting with the living, or visa versa, as far as the Bible’s concern. If the spirit is in fact a relative, we ought to pray that God’s send his angels to take them to a place prepared for them until the day of judgement. Spirits of the dead can and will affect the environment in a negative way whether they intend to or not. They can affect your health as well.
