The joy of the Lord,
is my strenght.
A joy which goes deeper,
than any other joy perceived.
This joy stands strong,
also in times of trouble.
This joy endures,
any trials and tribulations.
It may not always,
be visible on the outside.
But it is like a consuming fire,
on the inside.
It devours anything,
which is bad and defiled.
And it stays aflame,
because of the hope given to me.
The hope which I have,
in the Lord and Saviour.
Which is the reason,
for my joy.
He gives me of His strenght,
every day and night.
He supports me and holds me up,
when I am weak.
Even when I fall,
He lifts me up again.
And when my enemy rages over me,
You keep me still in Your presence.
In times of difficulty,
You teach me how to be humble.
It is only when I am put low,
that I can learn true humility.
You give me of Your peace,
when my enemy lifts themselves up in pride.
You help me to remain in the truth,
when my enemy spits out with their lies.
Only You Lord,
are my joy and strenght.
And even though my enemies may seem many,
they cannot conquer You!
As everyone who calls upon the Lord's name,
will be saved!
And when I cry out for help from You,
You will come and help me!
You are near,
to those who fear and love You!
And when they are in trouble ,
You deliver them out from it!
I will keep on,
trusting in You!
Whether times seems good or bad,
I will depend on You!
As I know,
You take care of me.
Your protection is over me,
which is Your secure salvation over my soul.
