Season 4 Reflection

Rather than loading up the series finale thread, I was thinking that maybe we could reflect on some key learnings from Season 4 right here.

I'll start.

In one of the Flash Forwards, we see Kate sneaking around and acting suspicious and later telling Jack that she was doing a favor for Sawyer.

I'm guessing that this is based on whatever it was he whispered in her ear before leaping out of the helecoptor.

Is it safe to assume that it has to do with Clementine?

I agree - it's gotta have something to do with his daughter.

My view is that with season four, we are 'over the hump' in terms of knowing what is going on and how things work. I kinda-sorta-maybe got about half a clue as to where things are going from here as a direct result of what was introduced and what got cleared up.

I definitely think Sawyer told her about Clementine, about the money he set aside for her, and asked Kate to get the money to her.

Season 4 was a turning point for answers, I think. In the first three seasons, we'd get answers trickling in here and there, maybe a couple in every episode, but then 15 more questions were raised by the previous ones being answered. Season 4 changed all that. Now I think we are getting more answers than we are questions, we're able to make some sense of things and see the direction the show is headed for the rest of the series.

In fact, I'm wanting to go back and watch my DVDs with the knowledge they've given us so far, and see how much I'm able to figure out of some of the mysteries from earlier seasons.

I'm looking at the animated .gif in your sig and there's this one frame that says "I love Steve/Scott".

I want to know if we're ever going to figure out who on earth this "Frogurt" guy was supposed to be.

The Steve/Scott thing was one of my favorite running jokes in Season 1.

Didn't they mention Frogurt in passing at the beginning of this season? I want to know who he is too!
