  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

For some time I have been trying to run down the title, artist, and recording company of a beautiful Christian/gospel song that played on local gospel radio stations in early-to-mid 1988. I can remember the melody perfectly but only a small portion of the lyrics. What I remember is: "When they crown him Lord of lords and King of kings....I will raise my voice and sing....a miracle....I will shout the name of Jesus, Lord of lords and King of kings", where the .... means other words in between that I can't remember. I know that this is not a whole lot to go on but I would love to be able to identify and acquire a recording of the song. I would be grateful for any information regarding title, artist, recording company, and current sources, or leads regarding other contacts that might know. Feel free to forward this message to other contacts that you might have. Thanks so much.
