It's been awhile since I've posted, but I have been really struggling with contact evangelism. A lot of Christian folks around me do it, and I haven't really noticed a point in the Bible where disciples or anyone just walked up to people, started conversation with them with the only intent to share the gospel with them.
There are a lot of open preaching in the streets and whatnot... and there are a lot of love expressed to other people...
But does anyone have any thoughts on contact/conversational evangelism in the Bible?
I just have a hard time for people to be forced into interaction with another person to have the gospel shoved down there throat. I love the idea of preaching in public because people who God has led to listen will listen, and those who aren't ready can walk by.
Anyway, any help would be great! Thanks!
