Scrapbooking

Does anyone on here scrapbook? It's something new I am trying and I was shopping for stickers because I plan to make a collage out of pictures and stickers and some memories to put in a scrapbook.

I was looking at vintage stickers, like Lisa Frank, from the 1990s. You know, stuff that is considered to be old nowadays, and I must say, just because it's old does not mean it is bad.

I used to scrapbook. I do more of other paper craft now (like collages and card making). I frequent the scrap booking section of the craft store for my paper crafts. Old is certainly not bad, in fact I like old supplies a lot of the time. Something I want to get into is embossing. Have you ever tried that? I only did it once.

I've done it...embossing too... nowdays mainly make 3D Christmas cards and the like... I put all my photos on Disk now and sent the actual photographs to whomever was in the pic (family) !!! I think scrapbooking is a great thing for young people especially... to journal with visuals!

Old postcards can be fascinating; I guess they can provide an historical backdrop to the more personal aspects of scrapbooking.
