I can remember walking through the Bruntsfield links to collect my date for the Sports Union ball when I was at uni and being stopped by some japanese tourists so they could get a group picture of me in my kilt with all of them!! As long as it's not leather or some 'fashionable' colour it looks quite cool. Worn at weddings, dances, parties, chrismas parties, football and rugby games. I think the guys love the female attention so much they'll wear it anywhere!
