I am not Scottish myself, but I am married to a Scot. We live in Holland though. We visit Scotland every Summer. I love going.

I love coming to Scotland. We usually stay 3 weeks and always with dh's parents. They live just outside Edinburgh. I don't go and do a lot of sightseeing, but I do love to drive around with the family. I love those little bended roads and the views. We lived there for 7 months too. The people are friendly, I love the accent. So, all thumbs up for Scotland.

Thefijan, I am from Hilversum, was born there. But have been living in Zeewolde, Flevoland, the last almost 4 years.

Don't go to Den Haag or Groningen often. Is not too near to me.
