  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

 Hi All,
:help: I have (had) a scorpion who recently had 12 babies...(bit of a surprise, as I've had her for 6 months and didn't even know she was pregnant...)
Now, I have a few questions...
Firstly, why would a scorpi give birth and then die within a week?
Secondly, her little babies are still clinging to her body... what do I do with them? How do I look after them?...I was under the impression that they usually stay on their mum's back until they were big enough to leave of their own accord...but with her dead, what should I do?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Love & prayers,
Lisa

What species of scorpion do you have? From what I understand, scorpions have very long gestation periods, anywhere from a few months up to a year and a half depending on the species. Also, from what I've read, the babies only stay on the mothers back for 1-2 weeks. I'm not really sure how you should handle this. Coul you contact a breeder or maybe an expert on this? They will probably have the best advice.
