The premise that humans came from apes is not part of evolution. It is part of creatolution, however.

Well, to be fair, we ARE apes, so unless humans are the branching species between apes and other primates, and that all other apes descended from humans, then it is a technically accurate statement to say that humans came from apes. But it's an obvious statement. It's like saying that my parents are human.

Carico,
How do you respond to the fact that this Creationist source has lied to support their position?

The issue being taken up with is that someone is portraying Futuyama as not agreeing with ToE. This is an asinine claim to make because Futuyama is a popular* supporter of evolution. To say that Futuyama does not agree with ToE is an outright lie.

Carico. Please address the blatant lying that occurred by including Futuyma in a list of non-creation scientists that refute evolution.

Do you not consider lying to be wrong?

Carico,

Why is it you embrace this post about scientists refuting evolution? After all, as you stated before, scientists are fallible and imperfect, and are therefore not to be trusted? You are being inconsistant.

Now isn´t that an interesting dilema?

There is this big bad scientist X, who states "According to the existing evidence, the Theory of Evolution is correct.

He is wrong, of course. He must be wrong, because he is a fallible human, who puts his trust in human knowledge instead of the word of God.
Fallible means being wrong all the time.

And now there is big bad scientist Y, who states "Accoring to the existing evidence, The Theory of Evolution is not valid."

He is correct of course, because he is a scientist, and knows what he is talking about. He has a PHD and exams and has studied this topic long. He may be fallible, but here he cannot be wrong.
Fallible means being wrong where you disagree with me.

Isn´t Creationists doublethink wonderful?

As a technicality I agree. But if creationists understood it they wouldn't make the comment in the first place.

Theory of evolution is not a product of imagination rather reasoning of observation.
Evolution does not necessarily explain how living cells developed from inorganic/Lifeless matter (if that's how it occurred). But there is a process of change that happens overtime to species, which is what the theory of evolution helps explain.
Evolution doesn't necessarily mean humans came from apes.

Evolution cannot and never will be proven, it is simply humans trying their hardest to discredit Gods word, Instead of looking for humans to awnser your questions... LOOK AND READ THE BIBLE... the awnsers are already their. The WHOLE truth and nothing but the truth,

Thats funny .. if their is so much "Proof" why arent you collecting the $250,000.... Oh I know let me guess, you dont need it. For The rest of you, AND YES I AM COPYING AND PASTING THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:http://www.drdino.com/Ministry/250k/index.jsp
Dr. Kent Hovind goes on to state --- The test of any theory is whether or not it provides answers to basic questions. Some well-meaning but misguided people think evolution is a reasonable theory to explain man's questions about the universe. Evolution is not a good theory --- it is just a pagan religion masquerading as science.
Dr. Hovind's has offered $250,000 since 1990 to anyone who can give any empirical evidence (scientific proof) for evolution.

What does it take to get people to understand that GOD IS LORD !!

the fact that god is lord has no bearing on the facts about evolution
furthermore no one cares what this hack dr hovind thinks except the people he cons into paying money to hear him lie
there is nothing pagan about evolution either since the originators of the theory were christian
everyone knows (except you, carico and the other creationists) that evolution and the scientific facts it is based on is true

Evolution a pagan religion? O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree....

Dr. Hovind's has offered $250,000 since 1990 to anyone who can give any empirical evidence (scientific proof) for evolution.

And he's continually listed his own definition of what Evolution is in order to evidence it. Since he doesn't even understand the basic definition of it, it's not possible to show evidence.

What does it take to get people to understand that GOD IS LORD !!

I dunno, how about more evidence other than goddidit?

Evolutionists have collected a lot more than that from Stockholm.

Dr. Kent Hovind goes on to state --- The test of any theory is whether or not it provides answers to basic questions.

I thought the test of a theory was whether it made good predictions. Evolution consistently makes accurate predictions, so that makes it a good theory. No one really cares what your religion thinks about it because evolution works.

Again, "Dr." Dino consistently misrepresents the facts, and flat out lies. I would suggest you compare his claims to that of real science.

BTW (just for kicks), can you name just ONE atheistic/agnostic scientist who beleives the creationist model to be true? If not, I propose that the creationist model is nothing more than dogma, not supported by the facts.

Eagerly awaiting your response.

I don't know what it would take. I know what deters it though. People who haven't got the faintest clue what they are talking about when they criticize the theory of evolution or science in general and keep propping up falsehoods like evolution=atheism. Yes, I'm talking about you.

Because Hovind set the rules so that it is physically impossible for anyone to prove it. He asks evolutionists to prove atheistic crevolution, not evolution.
