I would like to know what value this image adds to your post. Is this you?
Humor.
It is from the new Dumb and Dumber To movie, as if you didn't know.
Here.
A 'dome' is defined as this:
a rounded vault forming the roof of a building or structure, typically with a circular base.
This is a dome.
What the scientists are describing covers the Earth. The Earth is a sphere. So this 'forcefield' is also spherical in shape, or at least completely round. Therefore, it can't be a dome. Calling it that would only make sense if the Earth was flat, which I don't think you believe. If you do, though, my mistake.
No, it isn't completely round. It is doughnut shaped and it is represented
as the bricks in the picture.
As usual, you have no idea what you are
saying. Ever hear of a parabola?
Derailing this into a debate about what a
dome is, won't make the discovery of the firmament mentioned in Genesis,
go away.
You are right, it is funny.
So what would an actual dome around the earth look like? A doughnut?
Without a flat earth it's hard to say. Where do you propose the top and bottom of the earth should be?So what would an actual dome around the earth look like? A doughnut?
