You guys sound like cosmologists.
The point is that mainstream cosmologists don't really know what they are doing, this is why they are often so baffled by new observations that doesn't fit their model.
Hopefully as they continue to modify and modify and modify the model they will eventually find the truth.
God forbid scientists should discover something anomalous and be forced to modify a pre-existing explanation. I mean it's not like that's what scientists do for a living.

The actions of madmen!I like this quote from the aritcle:
Wait until they find out it was God Who placed the stars in the sky in a certain order. The team of scientists looked at the distribution of these satellite dwarf galaxies and discovered they were not where they should be. There is something odd about their distribution, explains Professor Kroupa. They should be uniformly arranged around the Milky Way, but this is not what we found.

It seems to me you're the one who just found out these galaxies aren't in the 'right' place. That's nice. Does your ad hoc faith fall to pieces if these galaxies you just heard about aren't in the "right" place?
No, thanks --- I'm not a uniformitarian who just learned the universal distribution of stars may be catastrophic. Now find the order, and get some evidence for it
Not mainstream cosmology, believe me. It's filled with darkness.I'm actually a big fan of science. It reveals the order of natural world. It reveals God, more and more.

Hows your faith holding up?

No, thanks --- I'm not a uniformitarian who just learned the universal distribution of stars may be catastrophic.
Now get out there and work on raising that old formula for gravity up to the level of No True Scotsman.

What's the theory of gravity supposed to look like?Hasn't it been understood for a while that our current theory of gravity isn't perfect?
