  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

And after that?

(I'm not sure what your 'no' applies to.)

"After that" requires the data from your proof. I can't speculate with blank dataset.

There is only one yes/no question in your OP. How illogical is to think that 'no' is answer to it?

I'd prefer if he healed all the amputees, everyone with dementia and alzheimers, everyone with kidney, heart, liver, and respiratory failure, everyone with TB and HIV, everyone with cancer, etc. Not some stone to bread parlor trick.
Is that a YES or NO to the OP?

The question is not that hard -- (or are you just using my thread to vent)?

Why do you always do this? Ask a question and expect no discussion, only "YES" or "NO" from replies?

I'd say YES, clearly, but a written account of such happening would be worthless and I would have to see it firsthand, and ask Jesus to do more things and ask him how he does it.

But question - does this have to do with Jesus' temptation or Jesus' miracles?

This question is for the Internet scientists here:

Was asking Jesus to turn rocks into bread a valid request?

What do you mean by "A valid request"?

In that does that request represent a request? Yes is does. They were clearly asking for something... that is a request. Is this a thread about the grammatical format of a request?

If my child asks me for supper, is that a scientific test of my power?

And I agree with knowledgeIsPower, what do you mean by a 'valid request'?

AV, are you still dealing cocaine? Answer YES or NO. The question is not that hard.
I can always tell when I hit a nerve.

An answer from an internet non-scientist: "Yes, it was."

Allow me a counterquestion: is asking you to clarify what you mean by "valid request" a valid request?

I'm rather annoyed at those who ask me that.

Valid request = valid request.

If you don't understand the question, please don't clutter the thread with noise.

I know that, as soon as I answer it, it'll spark another 35 questions by those who are just here to pull my chain.

Valid request = valid request.

Are you afraid of questions? After all, asking questions is usually meant to get answers, in order to learn or understand something.

You were asking a question. I guess that means you want to have an answer. Now in order to provide an answer that you would accept as valid (2b definition) (even if not as correct), I have to make sure that I understood your question correctly. As "valid" can have several different meaning, and that meaning can not be derived from your simple question alone, a request for explanation should be the best way.

But you won´t explain your thoughts. That baffles me a little, and makes conversation with you so difficult.

"Is this request valid?" you ask: "Yes or no."

I can answer either "yes, it is." or "no, it isn´t" based on my understanding of the question. But whatever I do, I have to wonder: do you understand what I mean with this answer? Do you even bother to consider why I answered "yes" or "no"?

Or are you just there to keep track?

Sorry, AV, but I am trying my best.

I can answer with a short "yes" or "no". Then I have no way of knowing what you get when you read this answer. As I cannot read your mind, you cannot read mine, and thus have no way of knowing the reasoning behind my answer. So what does a "yes / no" provide you with? I don´t know.

I can type out an explanation for my answer... and have you being annoyed that people write novels to answer such a simple "yes / no" question. From my experience, I have learned that it doesn´t matter what answer you get... if it is too long for your taste you start to block.

Or I can refrain from answering or responding to your posts completely. This is against my own goals. I wan´t to understand you, even if it is frustrating at times (Well, most of the times. Well, ALL of the times.)

HEY, I AM HERE! I AM A HUMAN BEING! I AM COMMUNICATIVE! TALK TO ME!
