You're welcome. I thought it was pretty interesting myself. It is amazing what modern technology and scholarship can do for Christianity! I hope and pray that technology will continue to be used for the advantage of Christianity.

We see more and more of it all the time. Scientists are now even starting to rethink the age of the Shroud of Turin. All I know as that I have never heard of science or archealogy disproving any of the historicity of the Bible. It is very exciting!

Thanks! I have actually never heard of Biblical archaeology doing anything but affirming the Bible's message.

Yeah me too. The field of Biblical archaeology is a very interesting field indeed. It is amazing some of the stuff that they come up with! Of course, they must also be sure that they don't come up with some kind of fake. Scam artists out there can be pretty skilled and so you have to watch out to make sure what you find is real. I am not saying that this isn't real. But like with the James' Ossuary not too long ago, you really have to be careful. Remember all the debate that when on about whether it was authentic or not? I'm not even sure if they ever came to a conclusive decision.

I'm not sure there was a conclusion, Holly. Remember that there is NO controversy over the ossuaries of Lazarus, Martha and Mary found in Bethany on the other side of the Mount of Olives! I believe that God is "teasing" us with these goodies to keep us encouraged.

"the flood" was disproved many years ago. also, if you think that the bible tells us the earth is only 6000 years old, well, that too was proven false.
