Because I'm not a mentally disturbed individual and I don't need the threat of eternal damnation to understand that violently sexually assaulting a man or woman or taking that person's life is wrong. Now, by all means, if your religion is all that's keeping you from acting like Ted Bundy then please keep believing. But don't insinuate that everyone else is as twisted or perverted as all that.

We are energy and as energy we very much exist. Energy that comes from the sun and is converted by plants into a form that we can use. Our physical matter from the ground is very little. If we were to walk though a wall there is very little chance that one of our atoms would collide with one of the Atoms in the wall. What stops us is the energy field not the actual physical matter. All of our physical matter would only fill a tea spoon.A computer is a complex information processing entity but isn't a self.
